The Promised Saviour

Jesus wasn’t just born. He arrived. Jesus as ‘the Christ’ or ‘Messiah’ was promised in the ancient scriptures of the Old Testament, the word of God to Israel. In the events of that first Christmas with the virgin birth, the baby in a manger, angels singing, shepherds and maji from the East, it’s wonder-filled. But it’s also the event of God keeping his promises. In Jesus, the Son of God, the Saviour has finally come for us.
