Christ Central Kids
What to expect
On Sunday’s you’ll encounter the smiling faces of our welcome team as soon as you enter the hall. They’ll help make sure your kids are checked in and ready for a great morning together. The backbone of our kids ministry on Sunday’ is our small groups (Kindy to Grade 6) for boys and girls where the good news of Jesus is explored through fun activities and the reading of God’s word together. Whether in small groups or all together at Christ Central Kids, there’s lots of fun with music, craft, games and Bible times. We also finish each morning with some morning tea, where kids develop a broader sense of community. It’s also the space you can check kids back out again after the main gathering.
Parents room and crèche
At Christ Central we’d love to support you and your family no matter what age your kids are. You’ll find a space for parents and babies, as well as volunteer run creche facilities for your little ones.
Our team
Our enthusiastic team of Kids leaders will be easy to spot. They’re the ones wearing a red t-shirt and name tags. Our leaders are keen to get to know your kids and tell them of the incredible love of God shown in Jesus. All leaders have Blue Cards and have undergone Safe Ministry with Children training.

FAQ
What if my child doesn’t settle in straight away?
No worries. If your child is uncertain about heading out to the program without you, come along with them until they’ve settled or stay for the whole time, that’s totally up to you.
How will I know what class my child needs to go in to?
One of our team leaders will introduce themselves to you and your child and then introduce you to your small group leader and other kids that will be in the same group as your child.
What if my child has food allergies?
Christ Central is a ‘nut free’ zone. If your child has specific food allergies please let one of the team leaders, wearing a red shirt, know and we’ll ensure that your child’s leader is aware
