Christians treasure the bible, but when we pause to think about it, those early centuries of the church raises lots life of questions. Who decided the New Testament would be the collection of books that we now have? Are there ‘secret gospels’ that the church deliberately withheld? What if a new letter from the apostle Paul was discovered today? Other groups and sects have more than just the New Testament, so why shouldn’t we believe those scriptures too?
